Project Manager/Owners Representative - Corporate Interiors Projects

BL Mosher Consulting, Inc. is seeking an energetic, motivated Project Manager (PM) to join our dynamic team. The PM will work directly with client stakeholders and will oversee all phases of corporate interiors projects from programming, design, construction through close out. The majority of work is managing interior commercial office renovations ranging from occupied office refresh to complete interior office fit-outs typically ranging from 10,000 SF to 60,000 SF. The primary objective of the PM is to manage the project team to ensure work is successfully completed on time and within budget and scope. This is the ideal opportunity for a professional with experience in the construction, property management, or design industries looking for long-term employment with room to grow.

THE WORK
 

Responsibilities – included but not limited to

  • Work with client to identify objectives, develop project scope, and review programming requirements

  • Oversee project in entirety - beginning with the engagement of architects and engineers in the test fit phase, through design, construction, move, decommission, and close-out

  • Review lease language as it relates to tenant improvement projects

  • Develop budgets based on client standards along with knowledge of industry pricing and client directives

  • Maintain project budget, including change order entries

  • Create and issue monthly cash flows

  • Create project schedules and provide frequent updates to stakeholders

  • Monitor and track progress of project, lead weekly meetings, and provide status reports/meeting minutes

  • Move planning and coordination

  • Close out projects including assistance with the TI reimbursement application process

  • Identify long lead items, coordination issues when reviewing drawings and specifications

  • Create, issue and level RFPs for all vendor services

  • Vendor contract negotiation,

  • Review and approve vendor payment applications

THE REQUIREMENTS 

  • 2+ years and BA/BS or equivalent experience in project management (construction and/or design), owners’ representation or related field

  • Experience working on corporate interiors projects in a senior level role

  • Experience working with key employees, top management, and client groups

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience with project management software (MS Project, etc.) helpful but not required

  • Experience with AutoCAD helpful but not required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – English fluency

  • Travel – Expected to travel throughout the continental US and Canada on a regular basis (2x/month +/- depending on project)
